Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip is a warm, creamy appetizer featuring a rich spinach and cheese filling topped with a golden, crispy Parmesan crust. It’s a crowd-pleasing dip perfect for parties, game day, or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup extra grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until smooth.
  3. Stir in the drained spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until fully combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the extra Parmesan cheese with olive oil or melted butter until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the top of the dip.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with chips, bread, or veggies.

Notes

  • Thoroughly drain spinach to prevent a watery dip.
  • Make ahead and refrigerate before baking for easy prep.
  • Broil the last 1–2 minutes for a crispier topping.
  • Add cooked bacon or sausage for a heartier version.
  • Use a mix of cheeses for more flavor depth.
