  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or an equivalent-sized casserole dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine the cherries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss until evenly coated, then pour into the prepared dish.

  • Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cherry mixture.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden and the cherry filling is bubbling.

  • Let the crumble cool for 10 minutes before serving. For extra indulgence, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

  • You can experiment with different fruits such as blueberries, peaches, or strawberries.

  • To make it vegan, substitute butter with coconut oil or margarine and use maple syrup instead of sugar.

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
