Muffin pan pizza puffs combine all the flavors of pizza in a bite-sized, portable form. These fluffy, savory puffs are filled with cheese, pepperoni, and pizza sauce, making them perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  1. For the pizza puffs:
    • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp onion powder
    • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni (or your choice of toppings)
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 1/4 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin pan with cooking spray or use muffin liners.

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese and mini pepperoni until evenly distributed.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk, olive oil, and pizza sauce until combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter will be thick.
  5. Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  6. Top each muffin puff with a little grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the pizza puffs to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the muffin pan. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
