Mini Hamburgers, or sliders, are bite-sized burgers that pack all the classic burger flavors into a fun, easy-to-eat format. With juicy beef patties, melty cheese, and customizable toppings, these sliders are perfect for parties, gatherings, or family dinners.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend for juicy burgers)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
12 mini burger buns (slider buns)
12 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
    Lettuce leaves (optional)
    Sliced tomatoes (optional)
    Sliced pickles (optional)
    Ketchup and mustard (optional)
    Mayonnaise (optional)

Instructions

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Mix gently to combine. Divide the mixture into 12 portions, rolling each into a ball and flattening them into small patties.

  1. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side for medium doneness. If using cheese, place a slice of cheese on each patty about 1 minute before finishing cooking to melt.
  2. Lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  3. Assemble the sliders by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your desired toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Top with the other half of the bun.
  4. Serve immediately, either individually or as a platter for guests to enjoy.

Notes

  1. Experiment with different cheeses such as Swiss, blue cheese, or pepper jack for more variety.
  2. For a twist, try adding toppings like caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, or a fried egg.
  3. For a vegan version, swap beef patties for plant-based burger patties and use vegan cheese.
  4. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika for added flavor.
