Million Dollar Chicken Casserole is a rich and creamy comfort food dish made with shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, and a crunchy Ritz cracker topping. It’s easy to make, budget-friendly, and perfect for weeknights or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or homemade)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed (about 30 crackers)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in shredded chicken until well coated.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the casserole.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
