Luck of the Irish Cocktail Recipe

A refreshing and festive cocktail made with Irish whiskey, lime juice, and ginger , perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or any occasion that calls for a bit of Irish charm.

Ingredients

  1. 2 oz Irish whiskey
  2. 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  3. ½ oz simple syrup (or to taste)
  4. 3 oz ginger beer or ginger ale
  5. Ice
  6. Lime wedge (for garnish)
  7. Fresh mint (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

  1. Add the Irish , freshly squeezed lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well combined and chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a highball or rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top the drink with ginger  for a fizzy kick.
  5. Stir gently to combine, then garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the Luck of the Irish!

Notes

  1. For extra minty freshness, muddle a few mint leaves in the shaker.
  2. Add a splash of green apple schnapps for a fruity twist.
  3. Ginger  can be used for a milder taste if ginger is too spicy.
