  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic.

  • Pat salmon dry and place skin-side down on the baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  • Let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier flavor, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.

  • Use fresh herbs like dill or thyme for a flavor twist.

  • Swap lemon for lime or orange for a different citrus profile.

  • To store, keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat in a 275°F (135°C) oven for 10–15 minutes to retain moisture.
