Layered Greek Dip is a vibrant, flavorful Mediterranean appetizer combining hummus, tzatziki, fresh vegetables, and feta cheese. It’s a colorful, easy-to-make dip that’s perfect for parties or a light snack.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup hummus (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
    1 cup cucumber, diced
    1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
    1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
    1 tablespoon olive oil
Pita chips or fresh veggies for dipping

Instructions

Prepare the Base Layer: In a shallow serving dish, spread the hummus evenly on the bottom.

  1. Add the Tzatziki: Spread the tzatziki sauce evenly on top of the hummus.
  2. Add the Vegetables: Sprinkle the diced cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped Kalamata olives, and red onions over the tzatziki layer.
  3. Top with Feta: Evenly sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the vegetable layer.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Drizzle olive oil over the top and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Add extra feta or olives for extra flavor.
  5. Chill: For best flavor, chill the dip in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve: Serve with pita chips, fresh veggies, or as a topping for tacos.

Notes

  • For a spicy version, add crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeños.
  • This dip can also be topped with grilled chicken or chickpeas for added protein.
  • For a vegan version, swap the feta cheese for a vegan alternative or omit it completely.
