Lavender Tea Latte is a soothing and aromatic drink that blends floral lavender notes with creamy steamed milk. Delicately sweet and comforting, it’s the perfect beverage for relaxation and unwinding after a long day.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp dried culinary lavender or 1 lavender tea bag
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy such as oat, almond, or coconut)
  • 12 tsp honey, sugar, or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of dried lavender (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil, then remove it from heat.
  2. Add the dried lavender and steep for 5–7 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  3. Strain the lavender tea into a mug, discarding the flowers.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
  5. Froth the milk using a whisk or milk frother until foamy.
  6. Stir in your preferred sweetener and vanilla extract if desired.
  7. Pour the steamed milk over the lavender tea and stir gently to combine.
  8. Garnish with a light sprinkle of dried lavender if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use culinary-grade lavender only, as it’s safe and suitable for drinking.
  • Adjust the lavender amount to taste—too much can make the drink overly floral.
  • For a caffeine-free version, use pure lavender; for a twist, use Earl Grey tea.
  • Oat milk or coconut milk adds extra creaminess and complements the floral flavor.
  • Enjoy hot or iced for a refreshing variation.
