Kiwi lemonade is a vibrant and refreshing drink that combines the tartness of lemon with the sweet, tropical flavor of kiwi. It’s a naturally colorful, vitamin-rich beverage perfect for sunny days or fruity refreshment anytime.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 34 lemons)
  • 3 cups water (still or sparkling, divided)
  • 34 tbsp sugar, honey, or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes (for serving)
  • Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
  • Kiwi slices (optional, for garnish)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine chopped kiwis, lemon juice, sweetener of choice, and 1.5 cups of water.
  2. Blend until smooth. If desired, strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother drink.
  3. Pour the kiwi-lemon mixture into a pitcher and stir in the remaining water.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices, kiwi rounds, and fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
  • Straining the blended kiwi is optional but recommended for a smoother texture.
