Ingredients

pounds chicken breast, cut into strips

1 large egg

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

¾ cup almond flour

¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon garlic salt

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

Preheat Oven or Air Fryer:
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) for baking or 390°F (200°C) for air frying.

Prepare Breading Stations:
In one bowl, whisk the egg and mayonnaise. In another bowl, combine the almond flour, parmesan cheese, and spices.

Coat Chicken:
Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then coat with the almond flour mixture, pressing to adhere.

Arrange for Cooking:

Oven: Place the breaded chicken on a foil-lined baking sheet and brush with melted butter.

Air Fryer: Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and brush with melted butter.

Cook:

Oven: Bake for 15 minutes, flip the tenders, and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Air Fryer: Cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and fully cooked.

Serve:
Let rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce.

 

Notes
