Individual Tiramisu is a no-bake, elegant dessert with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone served in single portions. Perfect for entertaining or a romantic treat, it’s rich, refreshing, and easy to make ahead.

Ingredients

  • 1620 ladyfinger cookies (savoiardi)
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • Optional: chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew strong coffee and let cool. Mix with coffee liqueur if using.
  2. In a bowl, whisk mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold into mascarpone mixture gently until fully combined.
  4. Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture — do not soak too long.
  5. Layer dipped ladyfingers into the bottom of individual serving cups or glasses.
  6. Add a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers and smooth.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and cream.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  9. Just before serving, dust with cocoa powder and top with chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

  • Use espresso for a deeper coffee flavor.
  • Do not oversoak ladyfingers — quick dips are enough.
  • Can be made up to a day in advance for convenience.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the liqueur.
  • Serve in clear glass cups or jars for a beautiful layered presentation.
