Hoisin Beef Noodles is a quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef, chewy noodles, and a rich, sweet-savory hoisin sauce. Ingredients

  • Beef (sirloin, flank steak, or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • Hoisin sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, minced
  • Green onions, sliced
  • Red bell pepper, sliced
  • Carrot, julienned
  • Noodles (lo mein, rice noodles, or egg noodles)
  • Cornstarch
  • Cooking oil
  • Water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Beef:

    • Toss sliced beef with cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Cook the Noodles:

    • Boil according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce:

    • In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and a splash of water. Set aside.
  • Stir-Fry the Beef:

    • Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add beef and cook for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the Vegetables:

    • In the same pan, add more oil if needed.
    • Stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and carrot for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  • Combine Everything:

    • Return the beef to the pan, add the cooked noodles, and pour in the sauce.
    • Toss everything together and cook for 2 more minutes until heated through.
  • Garnish & Serve:

    • Sprinkle with sesame seeds, green onions, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
