Healthy Cheeseburger Bites are mini, protein-packed snacks that capture the classic flavors of a cheeseburger in a bite-sized, nutritious form. Made with lean ground beef, veggies, and melted cheese, they’re perfect for party appetizers, kids’ lunches, or quick snacks.

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb lean ground beef
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: ketchup, mustard, pickles, diced tomatoes

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a mini muffin tin with silicone liners or grease well.

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Press a small amount of the beef mixture into each muffin cup, filling about halfway.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each portion, then top with the remaining beef mixture, pressing gently to seal.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are cooked through and cheese is melted.
  5. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan. Serve with optional toppings.

Notes

  1. Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  2. Add diced jalapeños or chili powder for a spicy kick.
  3. Mix in shredded zucchini or carrots for extra veggies.
  4. Top with mini pickles, diced tomatoes, or avocado slices.
  5. Use different cheeses like mozzarella, pepper jack, or Swiss.
