Grilled steak kebabs are a quick and flavorful dinner idea, perfect for BBQ season. Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks

1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks

1 onion, cut into chunks

1 zucchini, cut into slices

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes.

  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.

  3. Add steak cubes to a dish or zip-top bag, pour in marinade, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).

  4. While marinating, prep the vegetables by cutting them into chunks.

  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  6. Thread steak and veggies onto skewers, alternating ingredients.

  7. Grill kebabs for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until steak reaches desired doneness (135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium).

  8. Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.

  • Feel free to customize with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, or other seasonal veggies.

  • Sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin are ideal cuts for tender grilled kebabs.
