Grilled Lobster Tail is a simple yet luxurious seafood dish featuring tender lobster brushed with garlic butter and grilled to perfection. It’s smoky, flavorful, and perfect for special occasions or elegant dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (fresh or thawed if frozen)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently loosen the meat and lift it slightly, keeping it attached at the base. Rest the meat on top of the shell.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil or melted butter with garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  4. Place lobster tails flesh-side down on the grill. Grill for 4–5 minutes, then flip and cook shell-side down for another 4–5 minutes, basting with remaining butter mixture. The meat should be opaque and slightly charred.
  5. Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use kitchen shears for easier and safer shell cutting.
  • Don’t overcook—lobster becomes tough if grilled too long.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor in the garlic butter.
  • Serve with melted butter or a light dipping sauce on the side.
