A rich and creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce with bold garlic flavor and nutty Parmesan cheese, perfect for pasta, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and more.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquefied.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the cream cheese and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest texture.
  • Cook over medium-low heat to prevent the sauce from separating.
  • If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of milk or cream to loosen it.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freezing is not recommended as cream-based sauces may separate.
