Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are juicy, golden bites of chicken cooked in the air fryer and coated in a rich garlic-parmesan butter glaze. This quick and easy recipe delivers crispy, tender chicken with loads of flavor—perfect for dinners, parties, or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine chicken cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Toss well to coat evenly.
  3. Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving small gaps between each piece for even air circulation.
  4. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange skewers in a single layer and air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C).
  5. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  6. Brush or drizzle the garlic-parmesan butter over the cooked chicken skewers.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes before using to prevent burning.
  • For extra crispiness, coat chicken lightly in cornstarch before air frying.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne for a spicy twist.
  • Pair with rice, salad, or pasta for a complete meal.
  • Reheat in the air fryer to keep the chicken crispy.
