Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is a mouthwatering twist on the classic sandwich, combining buttery garlic bread with a gooey, melty cheese filling. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside—it’s the perfect comfort food mash-up.

Ingredients

  1. 4 slices thick-cut white, sourdough, or Italian bread
  2. 4 tbsp butter, softened
  3. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  4. 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  6. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  7. 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  8. Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.

  1. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on the skillet.
  4. Layer mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.

Notes

  1. Use a combination of cheeses for best flavor and melt.
  2. Try adding tomatoes, bacon, or caramelized onions for extra depth.
  3. Make garlic butter ahead of time and store in the fridge for quick sandwiches.
  4. Cook on medium heat to allow cheese to melt fully without burning the bread.
  5. For extra crispiness, cook with a weighted press or in a panini maker.
