Frozen yogurt with fruit is a creamy, refreshing dessert that blends the tang of yogurt with the natural sweetness of fresh fruit. It’s a healthier, lighter alternative to ice cream—perfect for hot days, quick desserts, or a fun snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain or flavored yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 cup mixed fruits (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, mango, banana, pineapple), chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt with honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon juice if using.
  2. Spoon the mixture into a freezer-safe container and spread it evenly.
  3. Freeze for 2–3 hours, stirring every 30–45 minutes to reduce ice crystals and ensure creaminess.
  4. Meanwhile, wash and chop the fruit into small, bite-sized pieces.
  5. Once the yogurt reaches a scoopable texture, serve it in bowls.
  6. Top with the fresh fruit and an optional drizzle of honey.
  7. Enjoy immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Use full-fat yogurt for a creamier texture.
  • Stir during freezing to help avoid large ice crystals.
  • Customize with your favorite fruits or toppings like granola or chopped nuts.
