Frozen banana snacks are cool, creamy treats made with sliced bananas, coated in chocolate or yogurt, and topped with crunchy or sweet add-ons. They’re easy to make, naturally sweet, and perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup dark or milk chocolate chips (or thick yogurt)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter (optional)
  • ¼ cup toppings (e.g., crushed nuts, granola, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into ½-inch rounds.
  2. Arrange the slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Optional: add a small dollop of peanut butter on top of some slices.
  4. Freeze for 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate or prepare the yogurt for coating.
  6. Dip each banana slice halfway or fully into the coating.
  7. Sprinkle with your favorite toppings while still wet.
  8. Place dipped slices back on the baking sheet and freeze for another 30–60 minutes.
  9. Transfer to a freezer-safe container or bag for storage.
  10. Enjoy straight from the freezer.

Notes

  • Use firm, ripe bananas for best texture and taste.
  • Yogurt provides a lighter, tangy coating—use thick yogurt for best results.
  • Store in freezer for easy grab-and-go snacks up to 1 month.
