Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen French garlic bread
  • 12 oz thinly sliced steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Bread

  1. Bake the frozen garlic bread according to package instructions.
  2. Keep the oven on for later use.

Step 2: Cook the Steak

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add thinly sliced steak and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3: Sauté the Vegetables

  1. In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed.
  2. Sauté chopped onions and green bell pepper over medium heat until soft.

Step 4: Assemble the Bread

  1. Place baked garlic bread on a baking sheet.
  2. Sprinkle half of the provolone cheese over the bread.

  4. Top with the remaining provolone cheese.

Step 5: Bake

  1. Return the assembled bread to the oven at 375°F (190°C).
