French Dip Tortilla Roll Ups are a cheesy, savory twist on the classic French dip sandwich. Made with roast beef, melty cheese, and a garlic cream cheese spread rolled in tortillas, they’re perfect for dipping in warm au jus.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 pound deli-style roast beef, thinly sliced
  2. 6 large flour tortillas
  3. 6 slices Swiss cheese or provolone
  4. 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  5. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  7. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  8. 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  9. 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
  10. 1 packet au jus gravy mix (or homemade dipping sauce)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  1. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  2. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla.
  3. Top with slices of roast beef and cheese.
  4. Roll tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley, if using.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Prepare au jus sauce according to package directions or your preferred recipe.
  8. Let roll ups cool slightly, slice into pinwheels if desired, and serve with warm au jus.

Notes

  1. Use low-carb tortillas for a lighter version.
  2. Make ahead and bake just before serving for convenience.
  3. Provolone or Swiss melt best and pair well with roast beef.
  4. For mini appetizers, cut into pinwheels before baking.
