French Bread Air Fryer Pizza is a quick and easy homemade pizza using French bread as the base, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy crust and melted toppings.

Ingredients

  1. 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
    1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
    1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    Toppings of choice (pepperoni, sliced olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, etc.)
    1 teaspoon olive oil
    Optional: dried oregano, basil, or red pepper flakes for seasoning

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (185°C) for 3-5 minutes.

  1. Brush the cut sides of the French bread with olive oil.
  2. Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce evenly over the bread halves.
  3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  4. Add your preferred toppings evenly on top of the cheese.
  5. Place the bread halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up.
  6. Air fry for 7-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with dried herbs or red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
