Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 2 oz apple cider or pear juice
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • Dash of bitters (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
  • Ice
  • Orange or apple slice (for garnish)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary sprig (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, combine bourbon, apple cider, maple syrup (or honey), lemon juice, and bitters.
