Ingredients
2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream or ranch dressing
1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
Chopped green onions or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream or ranch dressing, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.
Fold in shredded rotisserie chicken and half of the cheddar cheese.
Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.
Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella, if using.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Garnish with green onions or chives, if desired.
Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or celery sticks.
Notes
Use blue cheese dressing instead of ranch for a stronger flavor.
Add diced jalapeños for extra heat.
Swap in Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
This dip can also be made in a slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours.
Assemble the dip ahead of time and bake when ready to serve.
