Crispy, cheesy pizza rolls wrapped in egg roll wrappers, stuffed with gooey pizza fillings, and coated in crushed Doritos for an irresistible crunch. A fun and flavorful snack perfect for parties, game nights, or quick treats.

Ingredients

  1. 12 egg roll wrappers
  2. 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded or string cheese sticks cut into pieces)
  3. 1/2 cup pepperoni slices or cooked sausage
  4. 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  5. 2 cups crushed Doritos (nacho cheese flavor or your choice)
  6. 2 tbsp all-purpose flour + 2 tbsp water (for sealing paste)
  7. 2 tbsp oil spray or melted butter (for baking or air frying)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare air fryer at 375°F (190°C).

  1. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you.
  2. Spoon 1 tsp of pizza sauce in the center, then add cheese and pepperoni (or chosen filling).
  3. Fold the bottom corner over filling, fold in sides, and roll up tightly. Seal with flour-water paste.
  4. Brush or spray with oil or melted butter.
  5. Roll each wrapped pizza roll in crushed Doritos until fully coated.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes (oven) or air fry for 8–10 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  1. Use wonton wrappers for bite-sized mini versions.
  2. Cool Ranch or Spicy Doritos make tasty variations.
  3. For extra cheesiness, blend mozzarella with cheddar or provolone.
  4. Deep-fry for 3–4 minutes at 350°F for an even crispier version.
  5. Serve with marinara, ranch, or garlic butter for dipping.
