Dill pickle dip is a creamy, tangy appetizer made with chopped dill pickles, fresh herbs, and a smooth blend of cream cheese and sour cream. Perfect for pickle lovers, it’s great served cold with chips, crackers, or veggies for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add sour cream or Greek yogurt and mix until creamy and combined.
  3. Stir in chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Optional: Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with chips, crackers, pretzels, or veggies.

Notes

  • Use whipped cream cheese for a fluffier dip.
  • Fresh dill gives the best flavor, but dried can be used in smaller amounts.
  • Chilling enhances the flavor—don’t skip it!
  • Serve with low-carb dippers for a keto-friendly snack.
  • Do not freeze; the texture will change.
