Cucumber Lemonade is a crisp and cooling drink that blends the refreshing essence of cucumber with the zesty brightness of lemon. It’s easy to make, naturally hydrating, and perfect for warm weather or everyday sipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 34 lemons)
  • 3 cups cold water or sparkling water
  • 23 tablespoons sugar, honey, or agave syrup (to taste)
  • Ice, for serving
  • Optional garnish: cucumber slices, lemon wheels, fresh mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Add chopped cucumber, lemon juice, water, and sweetener to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher for a smoother drink (optional).
  4. Stir well and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with cucumber slices, lemon wheels, or mint sprigs if desired.

Notes

  • English cucumbers work best due to their mild flavor and thin skin.
  • Leave the skin on for more nutrients and color, or peel for a milder flavor.
  • Make it fizzy by using sparkling water instead of still.
  • Add fresh herbs like mint, basil, or rosemary for a fun twist.
