Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta – Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Sausage – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned. Remove excess grease if needed.
