Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 cup heavy cream
    ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
    ¼ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
    ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (optional)
    1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  1. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine with the garlic. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Once the cream is simmering, reduce the heat and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using) to taste.
  6. Continue to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
