Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 box (3 oz) orange gelatin
  • Zest of 1 orange (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ½ cup salted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix, orange gelatin, and orange zest. Add the softened butter and eggs, mixing until well combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  • Shape the Cookies: Scoop dough into 1 ½ tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  • Bake: Bake for 10-13 minutes or until the edges are set. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Other Jello Flavors: Experiment with lemon, cherry, or strawberry jello for a fun flavor variation.
  • Chocolate Chips: If you prefer, swap white chocolate chips for semi-sweet, milk, or dark chocolate chips.
