This Copycat Crunchwrap Supreme is a homemade take on the iconic fast-food favorite. It features layers of seasoned ground beef, creamy cheese, crisp tostada shell, fresh vegetables, and sour cream all wrapped in a toasted tortilla. Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch, burrito-size)
  • 4 tostada shells (or a handful of tortilla chips)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water (for taco seasoning)
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce or melted shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • Olive oil or cooking spray (for toasting)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease, add taco seasoning and water, and simmer until thickened. Set aside.
  2. Warm the flour tortillas briefly to make them pliable.
  3. To assemble each Crunchwrap: place a tortilla flat, then layer in the center—2–3 tbsp cooked beef, 1 tbsp nacho cheese sauce, 1 tostada shell, 1 tbsp sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  4. Fold the tortilla edges up and over the filling in overlapping pleats to form a sealed wrap.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down and toast for 2–3 minutes until golden. Flip and toast the other side.
  6. Slice in half and serve warm with salsa or guacamole if desired.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill, or it will be hard to wrap and seal.
  • Use a smaller tortilla or cut tortilla scraps to patch open seams if needed.
  • For extra crispiness, press with a spatula while toasting.
