A classic club sandwich stacked with toasted bread, tender turkey or chicken, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes. Layered with creamy mayonnaise, this hearty sandwich delivers a perfect balance of flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices sandwich bread
  • 6 oz cooked turkey or chicken slices
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread until golden and crisp.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  4. Place one slice of bread on a plate and layer turkey or chicken slices on top.
  5. Add lettuce and tomato slices, then season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  6. Place a second slice of toast on top.
  7. Add bacon and optional cheese slices on this layer.
  8. Top with the third slice of toasted bread.
  9. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks if needed.
  10. Cut into quarters and serve immediately.

  • Use grilled chicken breast instead of sliced turkey for a chicken club variation.
  • Add sliced avocado for a creamy avocado club sandwich.
  • Swap turkey with ham or combine both meats for extra flavor.
