A creamy, rich chocolate smoothie made with banana, cocoa powder, and milk—perfect for a quick, healthy, and delicious snack, breakfast, or post-workout treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana (preferably frozen)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond, oat, or soy)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)

Instructions

  1. Add the banana, milk, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup (if using), nut butter, vanilla extract, and ice cubes (if using) to a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 30–60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Check consistency: add more milk to thin or more ice/frozen banana to thicken.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
