1 cup milk (or dairy-free milk alternative)

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup ice (optional, for a colder smoothie)

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional, for extra protein)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the banana, milk, peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract.

  2. Add Ice (Optional): For a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes.

  3. Add Protein Powder (Optional): If you’re adding protein powder, throw it in with the other ingredients.

  4. Blend: Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  5. Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie, and add more sweetener if desired.

  6. Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Storage: Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately. If needed, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The texture may change slightly.

  • Freezing: For on-the-go, freeze the smoothie in ice cube trays. Blend the cubes when ready for a quick, cold smoothie.

  • Sweetener: Adjust sweetness to your preference by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
