Chocolate Avocado Pudding is a rich, creamy, and healthy dessert made with ripe avocados, cocoa powder, and natural sweeteners. It’s dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and takes just minutes to prepare for a guilt-free chocolate indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup almond milk or other plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Slice the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a food processor or blender.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, almond milk, and a pinch of sea salt.
  3. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa to your preference.
  5. Spoon the pudding into serving dishes or jars.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best texture.
  7. Top with desired toppings just before serving.

Notes

  • Use maple syrup or agave to keep the recipe vegan.
  • For a low-carb version, substitute with a sugar-free sweetener like stevia or monk fruit.
  • Add a tablespoon of peanut butter for a nutty flavor twist.
  • For a minty version, add a drop of peppermint extract.
  • Freeze leftovers in popsicle molds for a frozen dessert.
