Chicken Taco Pizza combines the bold flavors of tacos with the cheesy goodness of pizza. Topped with seasoned chicken, melty cheese, and fresh taco toppings, it’s a fun, flavorful twist perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough or prepared pizza crust
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup salsa or taco sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup black beans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (for topping after baking)
  • Sour cream (for drizzling or serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet, combine chicken, taco seasoning, and water. Cook over medium heat until heated through and evenly coated.
  3. Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet or place prepared crust on pan.
  4. Spread salsa or taco sauce evenly over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Top with seasoned chicken, black beans, corn, tomatoes, olives, and jalapeños as desired.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and top with shredded lettuce and green onions. Drizzle with sour cream if desired.
  9. Slice and serve immediately.
