Chicken Caesar Smash Tacos are a flavorful fusion of crispy tacos and classic Caesar salad, featuring seasoned ground chicken pressed onto tortillas and cooked until golden. Topped with fresh romaine, creamy Caesar dressing, and Parmesan cheese, they deliver a perfect balance of crunch and savory flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly seasoned.
  2. Divide the chicken mixture into 8 equal portions.
  3. Place a tortilla on a clean surface and spread a thin layer of the chicken mixture evenly over one side, pressing it so it adheres to the tortilla.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of olive oil.
  5. Place the tortilla chicken-side down into the skillet and press gently with a spatula.
  6. Cook for about 4–5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and browned.
  7. Flip the tortilla and cook the other side for 1–2 minutes until the tortilla becomes lightly crispy.
  8. Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  9. Top each taco with shredded romaine lettuce.
  10. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the lettuce and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  11. Serve with lemon wedges if desired for extra freshness.

  • Crushed croutons can be added on top for extra crunch.
