Cherry Lush is a no-bake layered dessert made with a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, cherry pie topping, and fluffy whipped topping. It’s a refreshing, crowd-pleasing treat ideal for gatherings and holidays.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 16 oz whipped topping (divided)
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly mixed.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Chill while preparing the filling.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until creamy.
  5. Fold in half of the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  7. Spoon cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer and spread gently.
  8. Top with the remaining whipped topping and spread evenly.
  9. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use homemade whipped cream if preferred—just whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla.
  • For neat slices, chill thoroughly and clean the knife between cuts.
  • Add almond extract to the filling for a cherry-almond variation.
  • Crushed cookies like vanilla wafers or shortbread can be used instead of graham crackers.
