Cheesy Ramen Noodles are a quick and comforting fusion of instant noodles and gooey melted cheese. Ready in under 10 minutes, this dish is perfect for lazy lunches, late-night cravings, or whenever you need a warm, cheesy bite on a budget.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles (any flavor)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons milk (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or blend)
  • 1 teaspoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes or hot sauce (optional)
  • Sliced scallions or herbs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan and add ramen noodles. Cook according to package instructions until just tender.
  2. Drain most of the water, leaving about 2–3 tablespoons in the pot.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Stir in butter and milk, if using.
  4. Add shredded cheese and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes or hot sauce if desired.
  6. Transfer to a bowl, garnish with scallions or herbs, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use less of the ramen seasoning packet or skip it if adding your own spices.
  • Best eaten fresh—cheese can thicken on standing.
  • Customize with your favorite protein or vegetables.
  • To reheat, add a splash of milk or water to loosen the sauce.
