Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are buttery, flaky rolls filled with a creamy mixture of shredded chicken and melted cheese. They’re quick, comforting, and perfect as a main dish, snack, or party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftover)
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
  • Optional: chopped parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Spoon a portion of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the sides slightly as you go.
  6. Place the rolled crescents seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired, and serve warm.

  • Try different cheeses like pepper jack or Monterey Jack.
  • Add chopped spinach, broccoli, or bell peppers for extra veggies.
  • Top with parmesan or everything bagel seasoning before baking.
