Ingredients

For the Strawberries:

  • 3 pounds large fresh strawberries

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream, cold

For Topping:

  • ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries:

  • Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly.
  • Slice each strawberry in half lengthwise, keeping stems intact for presentation.
  • To keep them flat, cut a small slice off the back of each half.
  • Using a melon baller or spoon, hollow out a small portion in the center for filling.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until creamy.
  • In a separate chilled bowl, whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

3. Assemble the Deviled Strawberries:

  • Transfer filling to a piping bag with a star tip (or use a plastic bag with the corner cut off).
  • Pipe the filling into each hollowed strawberry.
  • Sprinkle the tops with graham cracker crumbs for a cheesecake crust effect.

4. Chill and Serve:

  • Arrange strawberries on a serving platter.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy within 24 hours for the best texture and freshness.

Notes

  • Make Ahead Tip: Best when filled no more than 4 hours before serving to keep them fresh.
  • No Piping Bag? Use a resealable plastic bag with the tip snipped off.
  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge; consume within 24 hours.
  • Dairy-Free Alternative: Use dairy-free cream cheese and coconut cream.
  • Garnish Alternatives: Try crushed vanilla wafers, chopped nuts, or chocolate shavings instead of graham crackers.
