Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are crispy, golden appetizers filled with seasoned beef, melted cheese, pickles, and classic burger flavors. They’re easy to make, fun to eat, and perfect for parties or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup (optional)
  • 1012 egg roll wrappers
  • Water (for sealing wrappers)
  • Oil for frying or cooking spray for air frying
  • Burger sauce, ketchup, or mustard (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned and tender. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, and optional mustard or ketchup. Mix well.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Place 2–3 tablespoons of filling near the center.
  5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll up tightly. Seal the edge with water.
  6. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  7. To fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towels.
  8. To air fry: Spray with cooking spray and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  9. Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

  • Let the filling cool before wrapping to prevent soggy wrappers.
  • Use American cheese for a more classic burger flavor.
  • Place cooked egg rolls on a wire rack to keep them crisp.
  • Great for meal prep—freeze before or after cooking.
