Ingredients

 

For the Carrot Cake Bars:

Instructions

Prepare the Bars:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the shredded carrots, ensuring even distribution.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before frosting.

Prepare the Frosting:

  1. Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until creamy and well blended.
