A flaky, buttery croissant layered with deli meats, cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and creamy condiments, creating a rich and satisfying California-style club sandwich.

Ingredients

  1. 1 large sandwich-style croissant
  2. 23 slices deli turkey
  3. 23 slices deli ham
  4. 2 slices cooked bacon (optional)
  5. 1 slice Swiss cheese
  6. 1 slice cheddar cheese
  7. 1/2 avocado, sliced or mashed
  8. 23 tomato slices
  9. 2 leaves romaine or green leaf lettuce
  10. Optional: 1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
  11. 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  12. 1 tsp mustard or Dijon aioli

Instructions

Slice the croissant horizontally.

  1. Spread mashed avocado on the bottom half, then layer lettuce and tomato slices.
  2. Add cheese slices followed by turkey, ham, and bacon if using.
  3. Spread mayonnaise and mustard or aioli on the top half of the croissant. Add sprouts if desired.
  4. Close the sandwich, press gently, slice in half, and serve immediately.

  1. Best assembled right before eating to maintain croissant flakiness.
