Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz pasta (linguine, spaghetti, or fettuccine)
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra spice)
  • ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Cook the Pasta – Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Season the Shrimp – Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning and a pinch of salt.
3️⃣ Sauté the Shrimp – Heat 1 tbsp butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from pan and set aside.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce – In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tbsp butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth or white wine, scraping up any browned bits. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
5️⃣ Combine Everything – Add cooked pasta, lemon juice, and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
6️⃣ Serve & Garnish – Sprinkle with fresh parsley, Parmesan (if using), and extra Cajun seasoning if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
