Burger mini bites are juicy, bite-sized cheeseburgers packed with flavor and perfect for parties, snacks, or family dinners. Easy to make and totally customizable, they’re a fun twist on the classic burger served in a compact form.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • 3 slices cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
  • 12 mini slider buns or halved dinner rolls
  • Lettuce leaves, torn to fit (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes or sliced pickles (optional)
  • Ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce
  • Toothpicks or skewers (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground meat with salt, pepper, and optional seasonings. Mix just until combined.
  3. Form into 12 small patties, about 1½ to 2 inches wide.
  4. Cook patties in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until fully cooked, or bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a square of cheese on each patty to melt.
  6. Toast slider buns if desired.
  7. Assemble mini burgers: place a patty on each bottom bun, add sauce, toppings (lettuce, tomato, or pickles), and top bun.
  8. Secure with toothpicks or skewers and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for juicier patties.
  • Make ahead by cooking patties and assembling before serving.
  • Switch buns for lettuce wraps for a low-carb option.
  • Try different cheeses or toppings for variety.
  • Keep warm in a 200°F (90°C) oven if serving at parties.
