Breakfast pizza is a fun and hearty twist on the morning meal, featuring a crispy pizza crust topped with eggs, cheese, breakfast meats, and vegetables. It’s perfect for brunch, easy to customize, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream (optional, for scrambled eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or blend)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, sausage, or ham (crumbled or chopped)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced or diced onions
  • 1/2 cup spinach (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh chives or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven as it heats.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  4. Par-bake the crust for 5–7 minutes until just starting to set.
  5. In a skillet, scramble eggs lightly with milk or cream, cooking until just set. Set aside.
  6. Remove crust from oven. Top with scrambled eggs, cheese, cooked meat, and vegetables.
  7. Return to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Par-baking the crust prevents sogginess from the toppings.
  • Customize with your favorite cheeses, meats, or veggies.
  • Scramble eggs lightly—don’t overcook before baking.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge or freezer for easy reheating.
  • Use gluten-free or cauliflower crust as a dietary alternative.
