A grown-up version of the classic Shamrock Shake, combining vanilla ice cream, Irish whiskey, crème de menthe, and mint for a creamy, indulgent treat perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  2. 1 oz Irish whiskey (or more, to taste)
  3. ½ oz crème de menthe
  4. ½ cup milk (more if needed for desired consistency)
  5. ¼ tsp mint extract (optional for extra mint flavor)
  6. Whipped cream (for topping)
  7. Green sprinkles or maraschino cherry (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, Irish whiskey, crème de menthe, milk, and mint extract (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.

  1. If the shake is too thick, add more milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  2. Pour the shake into a tall glass.
  3. Top with whipped cream.
  4. Garnish with green sprinkles or a maraschino cherry for a festive touch.
